The Mike network, which is operated by Telus Mobility, can integrate digital PCS phone, Mike's Direct Connect two-way radio, text messaging and data/internet services all in a single compact phone. Telus purchased the Mike network from Clearnet Communications in 2000 when Telus purchased the company. Based on Motorola's multifunctional iDEN (integrated digital enhanced network) technology, the Mike network is available in BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec, plus it is available cross the United States thanks to a roaming partnership with Nextel. Mike is a great tool for business users since the push-to-talk services allow their customers to avoid long distance charges as well as airtime.

i can't even get the phone unless i go to the telus store! it's 2010, i can buy anything from the comfort of my own home. houses, cars,planes,helicopters,boats,computers, mail order brides,even drugs, but not a mike phone. fu telus, i'll get my phone somewhere else.
