The Samsung u410 is frankly a forgettable clamshell with a minimal entry level feature set. Even if you are in the market for a very basic phone you could probably do better than this model.
The u410 is a Dual Band CDMA that measures 3.48”x1.81”x0.77” and weighs 3.17 ounces. The external 1” display supports 65k colors and shows date, time, battery life, signal strength and doubles as a view finder for the camera. The internal 1.8” display also supports 65K colors and has a 128x160 pixel resolution. You can change the backlight time, contrast and dialing font/size. The keypad is a simple set of numerical keys, send and end keys and an easy to use navigation array that consists of a circular frame with four touch points and an okay button in the center.
The volume rocker and headset jack are on the left spine and the combined camera shutter and speakerphone are on the right spine. The u410 supports Bluetooth and has a talk time of 198 minutes.
Samsung has released many phones recently and it would be nice if each one had something distinctive about it. This model gives one the sense that it was built on a Friday and real close to 5p.m.

I've had this phone for 2+ years now (Koodo), and it's been a great little phone. I have dropped it countless times (i.e. it has a few chips/dents and scratches on it), and it hasn't skipped a beat. Pros: -Battery: The battery seems about as good as when I first bought it, which... More

The phone has very poor programming and the signal really sucks. My husbands phone sitting 2 inches from mine on the same carrier (Koodo) get's his calls. 75% of the time I do not get any of my calls, just voice mails 30 mins to 2 hours later--and that is IF the caller decided to leave a voice mail....
