How to sync contacts & calendar from Outlook 2010 to my Nokia Lumia 625?

Hi guys,

I've just joined this forum out of desperation. I have the Lumia 625 and wish to synchronize the contacts and calendar from my Outook 2010 on my Windows 7 pc (64bit). Having looked on the microsoft and windows websites, I cannot find clear and concise instructions. I'm not stupid, well not all all the time, but there seems to be assumed knowledge on those instructions. Can anybody help me here please?

Best regards,
Martin

there are two solutions:
method 1. register a hotmail/outlook account and set it up on your phone. then download hotmail connector for outlook from microsoft . it means that you will be using hotmail or outlook.com as the medium.
method 2. you can updat your phone to Windows phone 8.1 and sect up the gmail account; install EVO Collaborator for Outlook on your Outlook 2010. then both your outlook and your wp are using gmail as the medium to sync each other.

There are two ways to sync your Microsoft Office Outlook contacts and calendar information to your Windows Phone. The right method for you depends on whether or not you use Outlook with Microsoft Exchange. (Exchange is what many organizations use to provide email, calendars, tasks, and contacts.)

Visit this link from Microsoft to know the methods.
