We’ve got good news for you loyal Sprint subscribers out there waiting for the release of the Palm Pre.
Based on the latest info, the Palm Pre could be out as early as May 17th. That is if enough stock of the Palm Pre arrives to stores on time. If insufficient supply is available by then, they will push back the release to June 29th. We’re not too sure why Palm would have problems meeting the May 17th deadline, but apparently, this is a scenario that has been thrown into the mix.
Granted that prior to this latest news we really had nothing specific to work on as far as the availability of the Palm Pre is concerned, so we’re more than happy to get a more definitive release date as opposed to just the "1st half of 2009". Let's hope that Palm doesn't screw this one up as the Palm Pre looks to be quite a promising device.
