Nokia has just unveiled its new flagship phone, the N97.

It comes packed with a 3.5-inch 640x360 resistive touchscreen display with tactile feedback, a slide-out QWERTY keypad, 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss glass lens, HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, 32GB internal memory and support for up to 16GB microSD memory. It also boasts DVD quality video recording at 30fps. That’s certainly an impressive stat sheet to behold.

Below is a short teaser video of the N97 to get you excited for next year. The full press release can be found here.

The N97 is expected to begin shipping in the first half of 2009 with a retail price of €550 or roughly $693 excluding taxes and subsidies. It definitely belongs to the more expensive side of the family, but with its stellar feature-set, we certainly wouldn’t mind skipping the N96 and 5800 XpressMusic just to make sure we'd have the cash reserves floating around when this baby hits the market.
