It may have taken Palm some time before they eventually released one of their most groundbreaking devices, the Palm Treo Pro, but it was nevertheless released to the public. Apparently, time is something Palm cherishes as the supposed released of their next major OS upgrade, the Palm OS II, has been bumped from early 2009 to mid-2009. The obvious downside to this development is the mighty long wait, but consequently, as a result of the prolonged release, we can probably expect new and better products in 2009 albeit running on Microsoft’s Windows Mobile OS or on the archaic Palm OS.

That is if Palm fanboys don’t completely give up on the company and hop on board other up-and-coming mobile phone companies who have already made their mark in the industry such as HTC and Apple.
