It looks like the Symbian foundation is slowly gaining some steam as more companies have pledged their support for the movement. Acrodea, Opera Software, KTF, Sharp and UIQ are only some of the latest players in the mobile phone scene who have recently hopped on board the Symbian Foundation train. Unified by the goal of providing a solid open platform for mobile devices, this movement is slowly but surely gaining the numbers and support they need to become a force to be reckoned with. I guess the Open Handset Alliance has got some competition headed their way.
Now that the question on who will share the ideals of the Symbian foundation has been answered, all I’m wondering is when can we expect to see the results of their work?
