Rogers Announces LG Shine Slider

i am having problems with my LG SHINE SLIDER .every single day the needs to be charged .can anyone tell me why.sent it to rogers and they said they fixed the problem but i am still having the same problem. should i call LG directly.

k look im about to get this fone anyways... k look u guys gotta stop sassin the phone companies alryte they try their best.. and wen u think bout it in reality thei will nerver b perfect there will alwais b a glitch here and there now... Look stop sayin LG Shine is a bad phone look its quite a fancy cell phone and it has a cool design and u cant say its bad cuz well maybe if u use a case and b more and carefull and maybe o i dunno treat like a soccer ball and den say o its a bad phone it cant stand up to me throwing it against a wall well to hell no it cant like u ppl can b so stupid (joe)... So just stop it!!! its a great phone it needs to b cared for and treated like a phone like any other cell phone.. and for me i think all phone companies are good b remeber there will alwais b a lil glitvh here and there. thx bye!

You people are amazing. You think a phone is crappy just because you don't know how to take care of it properly. You CAN get it unlocked from rogers and go to fido or koodo now, so stop whining about the service providers already. There's going to be ups and downs with every service provider you have. They will NEVER be perfect. Now, regarding the phone, I have two friends who have had it for two years and it is still in perfect condition minus a little scratches here and there. News flash: if you get a case for your phone and use it, it won't get damaged. It also helps if you don't throw it around everywhere. Look at the VENUS phone.. It has basicly the same design, except it's touch, so obviously if it WAS a poor design, they wouldn't STILL be using it. Some of you may have had your phones break, but that is because of poor treatment. If you act more patiently while explaining your problem with the phone, you will get better service and probably be able to work it out with the LG people. Rudeness will get you nowhere. Rogers Sucks and so does LG DONT EVER BUY AN LG SHINE PHONE.!!!! PLEXIGLASS IS POORLY DESIGNED AND ROGERS WILL NOT SEND THE PHONE IN.... IF YOU CALL LG THEY WILL BLAME ROGERS AND LET YOU KNOW THAT THEY DONT WANT YOU TO SEND IT IN BECAUSE THEY WANT YOU TO BUY ANOTHER PHONE....IF YOU FILE A CONCERN WITH LG THEY WILL GIVE YOU THE RUNNAROUND AS WELL. The LG Shine phone is not worth the buy. If you want a phone that is poorly designed and a phone that can have the LCD damaged you have the right phone. I bought it and after 1 month the LCD shattered. Even though the External Plexiglass ws not shattered the INTERNAL was shattered and ROGERs and LG treated this as an EXTERNAL DAMAGE and is NOT covered. Why would they sell a poorly designed plexiglass and an poorly designed phone and as well not return your calls when you asked to see if it can be fixed. LG and ROGERS customer service is TERRIBLE and I am switching to Bell and SONY and MOTOROLLA< they are more reliable. Bottom line looks is not everything. There is a plexiglass on the outside that is very thin and below that there is a thin peice of glass. the slightest pressure or nudge will break the interior thin glass and the lcd will leak or shatter and your phone is done!!!! no warantee will be covered regardless of how long you had it for. JUST BE CAREFULL BEFORE YOU BUY CAUSE OTHER NON LG PHONES HAVE BETTER PROTECTION ON THE LCD SCREENS !!!!

Dont ever buy a Rogers LG shine phone, the plexiglass is not strong enough and even if the plexiglass doesnt break the thin glass underneath the the plexiglass and the LCD can get shattered Although there is no external damage, LG claims there is external damage and the sad part to this is ROGERS will not even let me send the phone in to get it reviewed to be fixed. They deemed it to be an external damage. LG's customer service is TERRIBLE they will not help you either. I hope LG ends up like FORD GM and chrysler because their phones and not built with good quality.

ROGERS IS AMAZING!! i have it and all of my friends have Telus and they cant get reception anywhere! i have had no problems with rogers EVER whereas Telus.........
