AT&T has officially announced their very first HTC Android phone, the HTC Aria.

AT&T HTC Aria Android phone

The Aria is a mid-end device that’s equipped with a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen, 5-megapixel autofocus camera, WiFi, GPS, 7.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity, 600MHz processor, 512MB ROM/384MB RAM, and ships with a 2GB microSD card as part of the standard package. It runs on Android 2.1 with HTC Sense and is powered by a 1200mAh battery that's good for roughly 6 hours of talk time.

Here’s a video of Dante Martin, AT&T Product Manager for Android devices, giving us a brief overview of the things we can do with the HTC Aria:

It would have been better if it came with a Snapdragon processor, but noentheless, it’s still pretty decent device. It’ll hit stores on June 20th and will retail for $129.99 on a 2-year contract after a $100 mail-in rebate is applied. You can read the full press release here.
