Not wanting to be outdone by Bell, Telus has also launched a new handset in their line-up in the form of the LG IQ.

Telus LG IQ

Except for its name, this is basically one and the same as the LG eXpo which AT&T just recently released in the US. The LG IQ is a touchscreen QWERTY-equipped slider that runs on the new Windows Mobile 6.5 platform and also boasts of a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 5-megapixel autofocus camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a fingerprint scanner for added security. If you want to see it live in action, a short video showcasing the LG IQ can be found here.

The LG IQ is exclusively available on Telus and is retailing for just $99.99 on a 3-year contract. Getting it on a 2-year deal costs $399.99 while opting for a single year contract will cost $449.99. Outright purchase price of the LG Q is $499.99. You can find out more about it over at Telus.
