It sure didn’t take long for things to become official. After news broke out that Bell and Telus will release the iPhone in Canada, the two carriers have just released their respective press releases stating that they’ve reached an agreement with Apple to offer up not only the latest iPhone 3G S in the country, but also its predecessor, the iPhone 3G.
It was a pretty brief and direct-to-the-point announcement confirming that they will indeed have the iPhone ready and available to the public by November. Unfortunately, it didn’t disclose a price but we highly doubt they'll be able to sell the iPhone much cheaper than what Rogers is currently offering it at. What Bell and Telus could do however is bundle their iPhone with more competitively priced and feature-packed plans.
Anyway, November is just a few weeks away so it won’t be long now before we get more details regarding Bell’s and Telus’ iPhone packages. Below is the press release of Bell release.
