Try this: Go to Settings > Apps > look for Media Storage under All tab > select Clear Data > Reboot. Let me know if that works.Source

Have you considered resetting the phone to factory settings? If you haven't and you do now, please don't forget to backup your files to your computer.

Unfortunately, this has not solved the issue. Everything still doubles. Also if given time they will even triple.

I tried this but it has not solved the issue. I will even be in the middle of doing something on my data and it will glitch and stop working. I read somewhere that maybe too much data was being used but I do not believe that this is the issue. I have 3 GB high speed and have only used 411MB from January 15 to January 29. My husband also purchased this phone and is having the same issue. Thank you for your help.

Thank you for your help. I have tried to contact them before I tried on here. Unfortunately they have not gotten back to me even though it has been close to a month. Hopefully there will be an update.

Unfortunately, I believe this is a software issue. And I believe fixing this is beyond my knowledge. I suggest that you contact ZTE or at least check if there's an update that may fix this issue. Good luck!

Hi there.Try this: Go to Settings > Apps > All > look for Google and tap it, uninstall updates. Restart your phone and open Google Play store and check for updates, install updates for Google. Check if the problem shows up again.
