Decent specs and a lightly skinned Android 5.0 Lollipop are spoiled by a cheap and nasty design, but the ZTE Blade S6 remains good value for those who can look beyond its external flaws.

A decent device for the price
It has been nice to use the ZTE Blade S6 over the last week as it has been refreshing to see such a new phone from a Chinese manufacturer coming straight to market. Beyond the initial launcher it is a clean(ish) Android Lollipop experience. Whilst it does have some shortcomings in a few areas, this is a good all-round device. If only it had a slightly better battery then it would not be that far off being a genuine Mid tier champion.
So if you want really good bang for your buck and don’t mind charging every night then the ZTE Blade S6 4G is a great buy otherwise I would lo... Full review

It’s never easy summing up how a smartphone is to use each and everyday. Like a new pet, there’s a period of adjustment where the two of you bond, or sometimes not. In an odd way, this applies to phones. Could I live with it everyday, or would I be desperate to go back to my usual Android smartphone even before the review was over?
The Blade S6 and I bonded rather well. There’s no annoying software, very little extra setup outside of the usual Google processes, and the battery lasts a sensible amount of time, even when connected to an accessory. I never thought twi... Full review
