I am not receiving bbm notifications ( red asterix ) on my bbm icon when i receive bbms.

Shouldn't that be by default? You'll only see notification when you receive a message or something from BBM.

You can use any phone locked to Bell as it will work with Virgin, I had an iPhone locked to Bell and works with Virgin

I believe you can as long as the phone is unlocked.

I had the same problem and figured out I had my settings on easy. Go to settings, personalization and make sure u are in standard mode. Then if u go back to easy mode be sure and check your camera settings first. Hope this helps.

Pretty sure you activated some feature or try using pinch-to-zoom gesture and see if that works.
