HTC will launch two high-end tablets running the RT version of Windows Blue update later this year. HTC will launch the 7-inch R7 and 12-inch R12 in the third quarter, specifically October 13th, Phone Arena reported, citing an anonymous tipster. The new tablets will reportedly pack powerful quad-core processors and high-resolution displays designed to take on the market leading iPad mini and the full-sized iPad.
What Else You Need To Know
- The HTC R7 will reportedly sport a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 SoC, 2GB of RAM, Full HD (1080p) display with 1,024 x 768 resolution, and 13-MP camera.
- The HTC R12 will offer similar internals as the R7 but will have a Retina-matching resolution of 2,048 x 1,536 pixels.
