AT&T launched the HTC First, the world's first handset shipped with Facebook Home pre-installed, on April 12 for $99 on a two-year contract. Less than a month later, AT&T lowered the upfront fee from $99 to only $0.999 on a contract. Estimates claim that the carrier may have sold 10,000 units since launch, which is shockingly bad. As a result, BGR's "trusted sources" claim that, AT&T will soon discontinue offering the device and return unsold inventory to HTC.
