At the second day of its I/O conference, Google confirmed that some household names like CNN, Twitter and Facebook are coming to Google Glass. Google has been trying to woo developers to write Glassware (apps designed specifically for Glass) as the wearable device has a smaller screen and is in the user's line of sight. Additional Glassware being reading for the device include fashion site Elle, microblogger Tumblr and reminder note app Evernote. All of the Glassware will be available to those who paid $1,500 for the device. Steve Lee, Product Director for Google Glass, Isabelle Olsson, the lead industrial designer on Glass, said Google would be shipping one software update every month with new features, polish and bug fixes.
