Grindale, your answers are incorrect. Many of your answers do not correlate with the menus that I see on my LG GB255g. I believe you don't even own this model. It is not nice to provide misleading anwers.

There are 2 ways I know of. First press the left arrow on the keypad which will bring up different options for your ringer and choose vibrate. The second way to press and hold the * key for 3 seconds.

To set the GB255G to vibrate, press and hold the * key while in standby mode.

the proper answer to this question, you have to go to inbox and outbox press the options button. Scroll down to mark/unmark, it should be a 7 beside it and press select and MARK ALL! You should now see check marks beside all messages then press the options button again and scroll down to delete which should be #2.

I want to get this phone to ring. Your user guide is useless. How does the phone work? I can't even answer my voicemail. I need a comprehensive User Guide for even the simplest tasks but can't even download it from the internet. Please E-mail me a complete user's manual, not the one that only addresses the MENU, which does not give me even a chance at getting a standard ringtone. Press and select Menu button and select Media. You`ll see the Sounds folder. From there you can set sounds as ringtones... or your profile is set to Silent. You can change it here: Setting, then select Profiles. Choose the profile you want and select Options and choose Edit.

As per checking the user manual, on page 5 the menu map can be found. You can see Media there on the upper right hand side of the page. Under media you have the following options: 1. Camera 2. Video cameraa 3. Music 4. Images 5. Sounds 6. Videos 7. SVG contents 8. Others 9. External memory 0. FM radio * Voice recorder If your phone has a more updated software, maybe that's a possible reason why menus and options are different on your phone. Download manual from the LG GB-255G page.

To change your ringtone go to Menu - Media - Sounds The Sounds folder contains the Default sounds, your voice recordings, and sound files downloaded by you. From here you can manage, send, or set sounds as ringtones. As for downloading ringtones, you can visit your carrier's website using your phone and you can even download free stuff like ringtones, wallpapers and applications. You can also download ringtones on your computer and have them transferred to your phone using a data cable.

This is what I found. I couldn't figure out how to change the ringtone without purchasing a ringtone from the Phone service provide (which is Telus for me). Menu--My sounds--Get New Ringtone--(shop your new ringtone)--(It will give you an option to use it as Ringtone).
