That's a common problem among HTC One X users. Seems that the bad phone design is causing the problem. Some users drained the battery first, then charge it then opened it, it works to some. Some did press and hold the power button until the home and back buttons flash seven times ands then go solid. Once they are solid let go of the power button and begin holding down the volume down button until you are booting or until the bootloader opens. Hope that works for you, good luck! Source: link
