If the HTC One VX has a persistent problem that cannot be solved, you can perform a hard reset. 1. Slide the Notifications panel open, and then tap on Settings. 2. Tap Storage > Factory data reset. 3. Tap Reset phone, and then tap Erase everything. You can find this information on page 167 and 168 of the user manual. Hi Sherri. I don't think you can do that. What you can do is disable auto update in Google Play store. Open Google Play store > Swipe from left edge going to the right > Tap Settings > Change the following:> Auto-update apps = Do not auto-update apps > Uncheck App updates availableHope that helps!

You can contact HTC for the nearest service center in your area. Or simply bring it to cell phone stores and pay for a repair.
