Its not even 3 months since iv bot ma new samsung a7 and d power button already stopped working...i need to restart to ph...plz give me some options as i cant do so with d power button.

same happen to me and luckily hold down lower volume button + power button solve this. already happen twice while i just scrolling some app since i bought this a7 in July .

This solution worked for my turned off galaxy A7 that is not responding to a power button press.
pressing & holding the lower volume button +power button managed to turn it on !!

My Samsung A7 Touch is not working even not able to unlock the screen. The Lock Screen and notification appears but not able to unlock the screen. I have restarted it several times by pressing power & volume key simultaneously. Now what to do?????

My phone got hung like 5 minutes ago. It wasn't responding to a power button, tried to call from my mum's phone didn't work either, then opened up laptop and googled it.
They said 'hold lower volume button+power button' and later's it restarted !!

Just simply press the Volume Down Key along with the Power Key together for long and it will simply restart your Samsung Galaxy A7 immediately!!!
NOTE: ABOVE METHOD IS ONLY FOR THE PURPOSE WHEN THE PHONE IS HANGED OTHERWISE NORMAL RESTART CAN BE DONE ONLY BY PRESSING THE POWER KEY FOR LONG.

Had the same problem. My phone was stuck on my home screen and I can't press anything except for the power/volume buttons. The lock screen was missing and won't show up. I can't restart the phone because the screen wasn't working either. I tried to call my phone (messenger app) using a different person's facebook account and thank God it started to work normally again.

Simply restart the phone. Press and hold the power key 'til the phone shuts down.
