Use your mobile without any case covers or change to standard scratch cards for your display screen, u can see the difference if u change those.. ;)

I am also having this problem. I tried restarting my phone which initially did the trick but the problem reappears after some time. Pl. someone help. Its very irritating.

Is your phone wearing some case? It may be blocking the proximity sensor. Proximity sensor turns your screen of when you put your phone near your face to avoid accidentally dropping the call or touching something in the screen. Now if it is constantly being blocked while on a call, your screen won't really turn on.
