Actually mmx unite 2 has a phone memory of 0.89gb, which wouldnt be sufficient . Even though u have free space in internal and external card the phone will show error while downloading apps if there is less space in phone memory. U can free some phone memory by clearing cache before downloading any apps. Settings->storage->cached data(under phone storage). This show free some space. U can further free some space by settings->storage->apps->select any app and then clear data.(be warned clear data clears all app data like logged in fb. U can still log in afterwards.This should save much more data than clearing cache)

But still it gives the same error- insufficient memory on device to download. I have tried whatever solution you have given above but it didnt work. Please help.

Your phone is indicating low phone memory. You should move apps to microSD card storage.

A question regarding moving of apps to SD card is already answered before. Please refer to the question How to move applications to SD card on the HTC Desire 516?
It is with a different phone, but it should work the same.

Please let me know how it goes.
