How to remove the star symbol on my Motorola Moto G?

Since few days there is a star symbol in the top of my home screen. Even there is no sound for any call or any notification.

Go to Settings>Sounds & Notifications>Interruptions>When Calls and Notifications arrive>Always interrupt
Thanks a lot! I had the same problem since few days and now my phone is back to normal
while reducing the sound you will see one menu with three options None,Priority,All. Select All option.Then you don't see the * symbol again on your screen
Simple press the power button. And touch option " All". Star symbol occus bcoz of priority mode.. Simple as ****...
Go to Settings- in that select
Sounds & Notification - in that select
Interruptions - in that select
when call and notifications arrive ( first option)
Select Always Interrupt
Press ur volume button and change settings from priority to All
