If you request a 48 hour extension do you have to wait until your service is suspended, or does the extension take effect the day it was due to be paid?

Hi Stephanie. Are you pertaining to Metro by T-Mobile? If so, from what I found, you will have to wait until the phone is suspended then you can contact customer service or visit a physical store to get the extension.
