AT&T Nokia E71x The Nokia E71x is finally available on AT&T. For quite a while now, this new variant of the highly successful E71 has been reported in the news, but it is only now that AT&T has finally decided to make it available for retail. Contract-free price is pegged at $299.99, but if you purchase it alongside a 2-yr contract for just $149.99, you can also avail of a $50 mail-in rebate which will drop its price to an affordable $99.99. It’s only available in all black, but if you’ve been waiting for the Nokia E71x to become available after all this time, you probably know this by now.

Of course, aside from the S60 FP2 operating system and some AT&T tailor-fit features, there’s very little difference between the E71x and the regular Nokia E71 as far as the specs are concerned, but the $99.99 is indeed pretty tempting. So, the question now is, will that be enough to entice consumers to get the Nokia E71x from AT&T or not? Personally, I'd still prefer an unlocked unit. However, if price is a real issue, then the Nokia E71x will certainly be at the top of my list of possible alternatives.
