Acer’s grand unveiling of their new Tempo line left us wondering if that’s really the best the renowned PC maker could do, but based on the rumors that have surfaced recently regarding their next batch of phones, it looks like they’ve certainly got more in store for us later this year.

Aside from the A1 Android phone and C1 touchscreen phone, the prototype F1 phone shown above is another phone we can all look forward to come September. What’s special about this touchscreen phone is that it will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (read: Toshiba TG01) running show albeit at a lower speed at only 800MHz as opposed to 1000MHz. Apart from that, it will also come with a 5-megapixel camera, ATI graphics and an Acer Suite 2.0 user interface which is somewhat similar to HTC’s TouchFLO 3D UI.

It’s all looking good so far, and hopefully, the exciting specs will be as impressive when it comes to the most important department of all, performance. With a rumored price of €560 or roughly $758 in US currency, we’re almost begging that it lives up to hype so that its hefty price will be justified.
