The BlackBerry Storm is more or less certain to hit Verizon in the US, but apparently, its official carrier in Canada is still up for grabs. So who’s most likely to score this touchscreen-enabled BlackBerry?
Word is that Telus and Bell are in a heated bidding war for the rights to carry the Storm as part of their line-up. While it’s eventual outcome is still uncertain, at least for now we know that Rogers is out of the picture as it looks like the Storm will only be available in the CDMA variety. Anyway, we’ll keep an eye on things as they progress, but given that the Storm has yet to be made available in the US, I don’t think they’re in a hurry to finalize any deal at the moment.
If you were to decide, which carrier would you prefer to carry the BlackBerry Storm: Telus or Bell?

TELUS. Bell does not have an unlimited plan for $30.

Nope. that is not for smartphones.
It looks like it’s official. The BlackBerry Storm will be exclusive to TELUS at launch. Have a look:

Telus!

and bell does have unlimited data package for 30 bux
@Young Song:
Bell DID have a $30 unlimited plan, but that was only a 30-day promotional plan in response to Telus’ $30 unlimited plan.
why no wifi on this device.. This is the only disappointing thing about it from the specs. you would think it would have all the bells and whistles to compete with the iphone. this will be a deal breaker for many users.
I stand corrected. Bell still does have their $30 data plan; it’s just that you have to ask for it and it is not on their site AFAIKT.
Does Bell have an unlimited Blackberry Data Plan or not? If so how can I procure it if it is not advertized. I am presently paying $60/month for the last three years for an unlimited Blackberry plan but Bell says this is not offered any longer and if i cancel this plan they can not offer it to me again. They don’t have unlimited Blackberry plans anymore!
bell has $30 unlimited plan and better price plans then telus plus they now have the rollover plans
BELL.
what is inculded in this 30 unlimited plan. ifi t for smartphones and is that 30$ only and then you pay the 7 access fee and taxs which totals like 40?
Its from telus. Check out their link to the page:: http://promo.telusmobility.com/storm/?ILC-tm0925bbstrmpre&ATTR=storm

In refernece to the previous post,m the GSM frequencies for North America ahve been removed from the handset so it will operate by default in CDMA mode in North America. Users of the phone will have the option of GSM or CDMA mode (where available) outside of North America.
Would be best if Bell came up with,” All In ” Blackberry Family Plan!
