Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 Android-based phone in the future?

We know that Sony Ericsson is not closing their doors to other operating systems as far as their yet-to-be-released XPERIA X1 is concerned. So how about pairing it with the most highly anticipated mobile OS, the Android system? That was one scenario that was asked to Sony Ericsson president Dick Komiyama. His reply was that while they’re interested in the said OS, they’re not quite ready to adopt it. It’s a pretty safe answer if you ask me, but still leaves the possibility of one day seeing the Android OS on an XPERIA device.

Speaking of pairings, I know that the G1 isn’t the most handsome looking device on the market and it is quite a shame that the Android debuted in such a lack-luster device. So, if you guys had a choice, which mobile phone would you love to see get outfitted next with the Android OS?
