Proving to the world that they haven’t given up on the mobile phone industry, Giorgio Armani has teamed up once again with Samsung for yet another branded mobile phone.

The Samsung Armani 2 Night Effect comes with a 2.2-inch reinforced glass AMOLED display, 3.2-megapixel camera, quad-band EDGE/HSDPA, FM radio, dedicated music controls on the side, 120MB internal memory, microSD card support, Bluetooth and a loud-and-proud Armani screaming logo on the back. It also fashionably integrates a wrap-around blue light which should serve as additional style points. Details about its release include a European debut in November, South East Asia and the Middle East thereafter, and as usual, no word on North American availability.

So far the only turn off in this unit is the over-sized Armani logos that are just dying to be noticed, but on the flip-side, I do love the brushed metal finish on the keypad and I hope they carry it into the final product without sacrificing too much on its functionality. Overall, based on the specs, the Samsung Armani 2 Night Effect phone looks to be quite an impressive unit that’s built to perform and look ravishingly good while doing so.
