Sharp One-Seg Phones Reaches 10 Million in Japan

Japan’s Sharp has sold 10 million one-seg phones in its first two years in the mobile TV industry. It’s a milestone that even Apple would envy. Of course the Japanese are also great customers for mobile TV.

The ten million milestone was achieved with 23 different models from Sharp, a warning for Apple, which will make its iPhone 3G available through the Japanese number three carrier Softbank.
