The Wall Street Journal is reporting talks beginning between Apple and NTT DoCoMo about a possible iPhone exclusive for the Japanese wireless company. Softbank is also in some sort of courtship with Apple about the iPhone.
According to insiders, however, DoCoMo is Apple’s first choice. Revenue sharing is the main snag as usual but experts say DoCoMo will bag the iPhone exclusive in the end.
NTT DoCoMo in Japan and AT$T in the US spreading the iPhone faith, Apple cannot lose… even in hi-tech Japan.
