Samsung Galaxy Beam

Samsung has just entered the record books once again by announcing the world’s first projector-equipped Android phone, the Samsung Galaxy Beam (i8520). Introduced at CommunicAsia 2010 alongside their two new Bada phones (Wave 2, Wave 2Pro), this unique Android phone boasts of a 3.7-inch WVGA Super AMOLED deisplay, 8-megapixel autofocus camera with HD video recording capabilities, WiFi (b/g/n), A-GPS, and its biggest come-on, a built-in DLP pico projector by Texas Instruments. It has Android 2.1 as its OS and will first be released in Singapore next month with other markets yet to be announced.

No word on its pricing, but given that this more than just your average Android phone, this will probably be more on the expensive side of the pricing spectrum. You can read the full press release here.
