How many keystrokes for text messaging does the Samsung m500 have?

I just got a new Samsung m500 (from Bell) and it would appear that you are only allowed 115 keystrokes for a text message. My old a600 allowed 140, which I thought was the standard number. Does anyone know anything about this? I'm really pissed off, as text messaging is what I do most often on my cellphone!:angry:
