Hi there everyone. Can someone please try using a .wma file format instead of .mp3 and let us if it works? I believe it needs to be .wma to be read as ringtone. Please someone confirm this.
Can I put 10 seconds tone as my ringtone..i put the tone in ringtones folder.but it was not shown in custom ringtones
You need to download app named "Ring tone maker" on Nokia store.

Thanks Nick.
thanks for that but i dont appear to have Custom when i open the ringtones and sounds
Hi there! Yes, you can use music for a ringtone. Just put your mp3 files into the Ringtones folder, and then go to setting.
To go to settings:
1. On the start screen, swipe left, and tap Settings > ringtones+sounds.
2. Tap Ringtone, and under Custom, tap the song.
NOTE: You can use a song as your ringtone if it is not protected with digital rights management (DRM), and it’s smaller than 30 MB.
