Last year Verizon turned heads at CES with the launch of its 3G EvDo network and VCast service.

Sprint answered with its own selection of 3G mobile media enabled handsets and "Power Vision".

Cingular limped into the game with their Billboard Mobile Service, which is intenteded to compete with Verizon and Sprint Mobile entertainment services.

Amp'd Mobile showed up at the end of 2005, with a small selection of Ev-Do enabled handsets, and a large selection of MP3s and music videos available for downlaod at about a dollar each.

We should see some exciting new innovations and advancements in the mobile high-speed data arena at this year's CES.

I'll update as news rolls in.
