Sharp & bright display, amazing battery life

from PhoneArena

If you’re an Android user on the lookout for a device that’s capable of tracking your workouts but also a bit smarter than a regular fitness tracker, this could be a good purchase. Or, if you’re an iOS user looking for a smartwatch but hate the poor battery life of the Apple Watch, the Huawei Watch GT 2 will solve that problem for you.

Stylish looks with great build quality, amazing battery life

from GSMArena

Huawei Watch GT 2 is a great looking smartwatch that is made to take you through the week without bothering with charging or over-complicated features that might confuse you. It sits on the wrist, makes an impression, measures everything that needs to be measured and brings your phone's notifications to your wrist.

Pocketnow

An all-around smartwatch compatible with both Android and iOS ecosystems

from Pocketnow

It is elegant, accurate, has a great display, killer looks, awesome battery life, and it fixes most of the problems with its predecessor. We’ve already received three updates since using it, and that’s a testimony to HUAWEI’s commitment to constantly improve the product, and the user experience.

Great hardware, limited software

from Android Authority

Huawei’s Watch GT was known for its long battery life and great design, but also for its laggy and limited interface. The Watch GT 2 is a definite step in the right direction, but still lacks in several important areas.

Stuff

A handsome, glorified fitness tracker

from Stuff

The Watch GT 2 is undeniably less functional than an Apple or Galaxy Watch, and doesn’t play nicely with third-party apps, so won’t be one for serious fitness fiends. If you’re okay with all that though, it’s cheaper and better looking and anything else under £180, and a great passive tracker.

Pocket-lint

Simplistic smartwatch, super fitness watch

from Pocket-lint

Huawei's Watch GT has built a reputation for crazy-long battery life and great health tracking data, with the GT 2 continuing that ethos, adding a couple of new features like the always-on lock screen and loudspeaker. That makes it a great fitness watch, but the lack of interactivity means it's still not a fantastic smart watch.
