The Honor MagicWatch 2 has a lot to like. The top of the list is definitely it’s extremely long lasting battery. Besides that the watch also offers numerous activity modes. It’s health options along with the altimeter and the gyroscope seem to be able to track the health features quite accurately. If we take into consideration the price of the MagicWatch 2, then this is definitely a recommended buy. That is especially for those that exercise a lot and are looking for a smartwatch with a long battery life.

Looks stylish on the wrist and has great battery life

from Expert Reviews

The Honor Magic Watch 2 might not be as extensible as a proper smartwatch, then, but it has a nice blend of features that might be just the thing for casual fitness fans or anyone who likes the idea of owning a smartwatch but doesn’t like the short battery life associated with such devices.

Thereby making the Magic Watch 2 an excellent choice if you are looking for an entry-level smartwatch that brings just about enough functionality and features, and impressive battery life in a package that looks premium but is being sold at an affordable price. But if you’re looking at getting a little more mileage out of your smartwatch when it comes to functionality, then there are better -- and more expensive -- options out there in the market.

Tech Advisor

An excellent watch with great performance and impressive battery life

from Tech Advisor

The Magic Watch 2 has amazing battery life and very good performance. It will undoubtedly please the fitness-focused, thanks to its wide range of exercise data and water resistance. However, the solid specs and versatility of its design might be enough to convince anyone to take the plunge.

The lack of Strava integration is still something that Huawei and Honor need to work on. This is a stand they’ve taken across all their fitness products and it’s disappointing. However, in every other respect this smartwatch is simply excellent. As a watch, as a notification system, as a hands-free phone, as a music-player and as your fitness companion it excelled in every respect. Simply fantastic.

Amazing battery life, well fleshed-out Health suite

from PhoneArena

The Honor MagicWatch 2 is understated, yet elegant — you won’t be embarrassed to be seen with it out in public. It lacks the variety of features and options of competing smartwatches, but it makes up for that with incredibly long battery life and deep health tracking options.

While the MagicWatch 2 has a lot in common with the Huawei Watch GT 2, it still has distinct looks and feel, and it's always nice to have more options. Another reason why the MagicWatch 2 might be our preferred choice is the sweet low price of £160 for the 46mm variant. Seeing how you are losing nothing in terms of functionality this is arguably the far better deal.

A smartwatch just in name

from Android Authority

The Honor Watch Magic 2 is more of a smart companion than a smartwatch. However, if you seek reliable fitness tracking sprinkled with just the right amount of smart functionality, the wearable makes a good case for itself.

A great wearable, but LiteOS is too light

The Honor Magic Watch 2 is an interesting purchase. At a price of €179 for the 42mm and €189 for the 46mm though, it’s a tall order. It looks nice, but the software makes it unusable for anyone who wants a smartwatch that’s actually, well, smart. Coming from the OG Huawei Watch, it’s ce...More

The Honor Magic Watch 2 is an interesting purchase. At a price of €179 for the 42mm and €189 for the 46mm though, it’s a tall order. It looks nice, but the software makes it unusable for anyone who wants a smartwatch that’s actually, well, smart. Coming from the OG Huawei Watch, it’s certainly been a change of pace. The bottom line is that if you’re looking for a nice looking watch with a heavy focus on fitness, then the Honor Magic Watch 2 might be worth checking out.
