Superior comfort and top-notch noise cancellation for a good price

from Laptop Magazine
The biggest drawback to the Plantronics Voyager Pro is that some people will find its design too serious, or too bulky. That said, it’s one of the most comfortable we’ve tested, and the noise and wind cancellation are both effective. The Voyager Pro is the sturdiest and greatest comfort you can get.   .. Full review

Looks silly with the behind-the-ear battery pack, but it feels really comfortable

from CrunchGear
What surprised me the most was how it feels. The headset doesn’t fit into your ear canal at all, rather rests on the outside with springy silicon tips. The design works perfectly and doesn’t cause any of irritations. This headset wins in both audio clarity and comfort, but drops the ball a bit with the style. That’s fine with me. The former two traits are the most important anyway.  .. Full review

A superb battery life doesn't make up for its poor performance

from PhoneArena

There was no time during our tests when we felt impressed by the Plantronics Voyager PRO. It has a stylish design, but this cannot make up for the lack of a compact size. While we can live with that, the fact that it doesn’t feel more comfortable to wear as opposed to smaller Bluetooth headsets simply means that Plantronics has rushed the product. At least the battery is up to its task. According to the manufacturer, it provides 6hrs of continuous talk time and keeps the headset alive for 5 days on a single charge. This is similar to what we found out during our tests.  Unfortuna... Full review

A louder , more defined sound gives the Voyager PRO the advantage over the PRIME

from SlashGear

Whether it performs better than the Jawbone PRIME is a difficult question.  My back to back testing suggested that, in everyday situations, callers couldn’t tell the difference between the PRIME and the Voyager PRO.  I felt the Jawbone deals with direct wind-noise a little better than the Plantronics, while the Voyager Pro has the edge on natural voice clarity.  Its processing produces a louder, more defined sound, versus the PRIME’s smoother tone.  For most people in most environments, though, we don’t think there’s much to differentiate the tech... It has the best wind noise handling of any

from CNET

Four years after its introduction, the Plantronics Voyager 510 still remains one of the most popular Bluetooth headsets Plantronics has ever released. Despite its outdated design and the many more advanced headsets that have come along to replace it, it seems as if the Plantronics Voyager 510 has earned itself an incredibly loyal following primarily because of two things: unbeatable sound quality and comfort. It's one of a few headsets that prize both incoming and outgoing call quality, and even though it's big, you can wear it for many hours without a lot of discomfort... Full review

It performs great in almost all aspects

from PC Magazine
While the Aliph Jawbone Prime has a longer range and handles wind noise more effectively, the Voyager Pro is more comfortable, has a better battery, costs less, and delivers equal if not better performance, which is more than enough reason to make it our latest Editors' Choice. It's the device I'll be taking on business trips and to trade shows. The Plantronics Voyager Pro delivers the highest-caliber Bluetooth voice quality, in almost any environment. The Aliph Jawbone Prime wins with wind noise handling, but the Voyager Pro still nabs our Editors' Choice.  .. Full review
