They are a bit on the bass-heavy side and will be better for genres like EDM, hip-hop, and rap. These headphones are decently well-built and are stable for sports. They are fairly versatile as they isolate a decent amount of noise, which is good for commuting and since they barely leak too, you’ll be able to use them at the office. However, they have very high latency, which won’t be great for watching video content and gaming.

Great value for money

Good Housekeeping

Great value for money, these totally wireless ear buds are ideal for anyone on a limited budget. Simple to use, they sound clear and detailed, but do lack punch in the bass and you compromise on battery life.

JLab Audio’s JBuds Air have come on the scene with great features and a super affordable price point to rival Apple’s AirPods. If you’re on the fence of purchasing Apple’s AirPods, why not give the JBuds Air a shot. It’s only $49 and would be a great workout-focused investment with noise isolation while we wait for Apple to eventually release its AirPods 2.

Average sound, astonishing price

It’s hard to argue against the bargain basement price of the JLab JBuds Air True Wireless Earbuds. But for anything more than casual listening, you’re going to want to look elsewhere.

Wired

Sound fantastic and cost less than $50

from Wired

They aren't much smaller than other fully wireless earbuds, but they're easy to use, and I felt a lot better about possibly losing or damaging them. That makes them a perfect gift for a high school or college student, or anyone who wants to try out the ease and convenience of wirefree buds without a significant financial investment.

Headphone Review

Excellent value for money

from Headphone Review

The JLab JBuds Air are yet another home run for JLab Audio. The headphones are not only generally well-designed and more comfortable than headphones three times their price, but they also sound relatively good too — which is great news for those looking for a pair of good true wireless headphones on a budget.

Yes, the lack of aptX or AAC support is frustrating, but it makes sense at this price point. If you’ve been wanting to give true wireless a shot, but couldn’t bear the hit to your wallet, the JLab JBuds Air is an affordable, low-risk option that deserves a fair chance.

PC Magazine

One of the best bargains you'll find among true wireless earbuds

from PC Magazine

The JBuds Air's buttons are a little annoying to operate, the earpieces sometimes connect while in the case, and sonically, this is a bass lovers-only affair no matter what mode you're in. But for $50? These things are forgivable. If you're looking for true wireless earbuds on a budget, you won't do better than the Jbuds Air.
