The Marshall Stanmore II Voice can easily be mistaken for the head unit on an iconic Marshall stack, and its audio performance avidly matches that aesthetic. But we had an erratic experience with the accompanying iOS app.
For those who are about to rock, the Stanmore II has just about everything you need--as long as you don’t mind spending a big chunk of money.
The Marshall Stanmore II is a good speaker—undeniably one of the best you can get with Assistant built-in right now. Music of all types sounds clear, the volume is impressive, and it has some power behind the bass.
This speaker is super smart with Amazon Alexa built in, and while the bass is very powerful, mid frequencies feel a bit recessed.
As long as you can make yourself understood when interacting with Alexa, this is a smart speaker worth a place on anyone’s shortlist. As long as it’s not too bulky, of course, and not too all-out rock’n’roll for your decor.
No questions for the moment.
