Headphones Addict

Fantastic fit, waterproof design, and exceptional sound

Headphones Addict

While the updated Jaybird in-ear headphones don’t seem to have a lot of new things going on for them, the upgraded durability (water-resistance) and the good old features like sound, stable fit, and convenience make them a small improvement over the previous model.

A great set of gym headphones that won’t break the bank

from TrustedReviews

If you’re on the hunt for a near-unbreakable set of running headphones then the Jaybird X4s are a great option. The wealth of tip options and nifty new cable management system make it quick and easy to get a secure seal that’ll hold even during especially active workouts.

A great buy for anyone looking for a solid set of Bluetooth headphones

from Android Guys

Jaybird is back to its old ways with the release of the Jaybird X4. These are some of the best-wired Bluetooth headphones on the market and should definitely be considered by anyone, but especially if you are a frequent gym-goer. The sound is great and the design is familiar, yet comfortable.

Headphones for life’s adventures

If you’re in the market for a great pair of wireless sport headphones for working out, getting active, or even for commuting, the Jaybird X4 is an excellent option. I honestly could not come up with any downsides.

The best workout wireless headphones

from TechnoBuffalo

Though there are many other options on the market, if you want to get the best workout  Bluetooth earphones, Jaybird’s X4 are it. From sound to functionality, the X4 check off every box. I didn’t find myself wanting something that sounds better or had better battery life.

Win on price-to-performance

from Apple Insider

If I'm honest, I expect to go back to my Powerbeats3 partly because I do prefer the extra bass, but mostly because I find hooks to be more reliable for keeping things in place. Fins can help stop buds from falling out — hooks guarantee it. Unless those caveats apply to you too however, it's hard to beat what the X4 offers for the price. They're an evolution of an already winning formula....

A winning combo of sound, style, and battery

from Android Central

$130 isn't a small amount of money to spend on sporty wireless earbuds, but if you've got the means to do so, it's hard to beat the X4. The battery life is long-lasting, the sound is great, and the IPX7 water resistance rating provides nice peace of mind.

An attempt to stay near the top of the heap

from Apple Insider

With or without a preset, I was generally pleased by the X4's sound — you won't get the heavy bass of something like Beats, but audio is generally crisp and excellent through any genre, even ambient electronic.

A modest, mostly good upgrade

from Tom's Guide

The Jaybird X4 is a modest upgrade with enhanced aesthetics and great sound, but it also has poor battery life and lots of bugs.

Great earbuds without much new to offer

Buy them if you're in the market for high-quality, athletic-focused Bluetooth earbuds and aren't bothered by proprietary connectors or a cable tethering the two sides together.
