India Today

Not worth the price

from India Today

Despite its classic design, I wouldn't recommend this smartwatch simply because it doesn't offer value for money. The Falster lacks basic features that are present in most smartwatches in this price range. Its UI despite being simple is extremely boring and its battery isn't great either.

If you happen to like Skagen’s style and the general look of the Falster smartwatch, you have the only realistic reason to buy this. On all other counts, the Falster is a disappointing option even by Wear OS’ currently low standards. Wear OS will likely only get a fresh lease of life later this year when the next-generation Qualcomm smartwatch chipsets and Google’s own Pixel-branded smartwatches are launched.

Big on style, lacking in substance

from TrustedReviews

The Skagen Falster looks and feels good, but it’s low on features and stamina. If you’re after more advanced fitness tracking or a wireless payments device, then we’d suggest you steer clear of the Skagen Falster.

The design is in line with other watches from Skagen, and if you like simple hardware, you might like the Falster. The sleek body is crafted with premium materials and it doesn’t feel bulky on the wrist. Skagen is positioning this a smartwatch, as opposed to the other wearables that it sells, and it does run Wear OS. However, it's still more of a lifestyle product than anything else.

Smart without being loud

from The Indian Express

The Skagen Falster is a smartwatch for those who don’t want the smart side of the watch to scream out. The smart in the smartwatch works in the background and does a good job of keeping you up to date on what is happening in your life and on your phone.

Skagen’s minimal design gets Wear OS smartwatch treatment

from Techaeris

For those seeking more, there’s definitely other, better choices out there but, in my opinion, the Falster is one of the sleekest looking options currently available and it does everything I need in a smartwatch on a daily basis.

Minimalist design, minimal features

from Android Central

I like the way the Falster looks on my wrist because I enjoy minimal design and quality leather bands, and I don't mind spending $275 for the privilege. I don't mind that price despite the product's numerous flaws and lazy oversights meant to prop up Fossil's margins.

This pretty Wear OS watch takes 'fashion over features' a bit too far

from Stuff

If you want the full-fat smartwatch experience, don’t buy the Skagen Falster Connected. It has the features list of a first-wave Wear watch, one released in 2015 rather than 2018. It’ll handle basics like notifications, but isn’t that great for fitness tracking or anything particularly advanced.

A very sleek Wear OS watch let down by terrible hardware decisions

from Android Police

Like every relatively fancy analog watch I've seen, it feels like a personal jewelry item and fashion symbol first then a watch second. The smartwatch part comes even after that.
