Pocket-lint

Doing it for the kids

from Pocket-lint

Having asked children in the target range, we can see that there is a desire for this type of thing. Fitness trackers - and Fitbit in particular - are a common sight in kid's sports clubs and not uncommon in the playground, as these accessories move from adults to their children.

Tech Advisor

A great way to improve children's motivation to get fitter

from Tech Advisor

A great starter activity tracking wristband, and the family views and challenges bring the whole family together. Kids needn’t be restricted to choosing just the Ace, however, as the other Fitbits will work (and fit) just as well with smaller people – but the family settings work only with the Ace.

TrustedReviews

A fitness tracker geared specifically towards younger users

from TrustedReviews

I can’t help but feel rather cynical about the Fitbit Ace. It feels like a cheap re-purposing of the Fitbit Alta and an attempt by Fitbit to expand its potential customer base. I don’t believe the Ace’s design is likely to appeal to children, either.

Wareable

A fitness tracker for kids with a familiar look

from Wareable

The design is well, all Fitbit Alta. Familiar, not groundbreaking but a formula that has clearly worked for Fitbit and driven a lot of interest in its wearables over the last couple of years.
