Just do it — in water

from iMore
With Apple Watch Series 2, Apple coalesced their messaging from a little something for everyone to a real focus on health and fitness. The other aspects are still there, from excellent notification handling to super-convenient Apple Pay and remote control, but activity and workouts are front-and-center in the marketing. And Apple Watch Nike+ is front-and-center for activity and workouts... Full review

NRC is an effective coach, but app reliability can be spotty

from 9to5Mac
My favorite part about Apple Watch Series 2 as a running watch is being able to just go out and run with AirPods or any Bluetooth headphones and play music wirelessly directly from my run tracker. It’s easy to make excuses not to go for a run when you’re starting out, and Apple Watch Series 2 ensures that dealing with a cumbersome iPhone armband case and earphone cables isn’t one of those excuses... Great smartwatch, just not a perfect runner's watch

from Pocket-lint
The Nike+ Apple Watch Series 2 is a great smartwatch. It offers seamless integration with the iPhone, high quality hardware, a great display and eye-catching sporty band... Full review

A new and effective take on running watches

The world's best smartwatch also makes a very good running watch, emphasising social enjoyment over a barrage of metrics.. Full review

Isn't much different from Series 2, and that's OK

from Apple Insider
If you like the lightweight band or really want the unique watch faces, the Apple Watch Nike+ is an easy recommendation. There is no real downside to choosing this model, and runners who are content with the capabilities of the Apple Watch Series 2 will be pleased with their purchase... Full review
Wareable

A strong sports-focussed smartwatch that we've already outgrown

from Wareable
The Apple Watch Nike is a fantastic smartwatch, but offers a running experience skewed to beginners, in a way that feels out of kilter with the emphasis it places on running. All the basics are covered with accurate GPS and heart rate tracking, and the partnership with Nike Run Club is seamless... Full review

The Apple Watch for Nike addicts

from Cnet
If you're a loyal Nike user, this is the Apple Watch to get, but it's really just an Apple Watch Series 2 with a few minor changes. There are cheaper alternatives for pure fitness and run tracking... Full review

A perfectly nice watch

from Gizmodo
The Apple Watch Nike+ has the utility of that lightweight band, and those two fancy watchfaces. It'll stand out more than even a regular Apple Watch will, if you want it to. Choose the right one and it's not so gaudy. It's a perfectly nice watch, worse in no conceivable way than a regular Apple Watch, and with that slight extra street cred — with the right crowd — that the Nike brand carries. If you like to run, and you have friends that like to run, pick an Apple Watch Nike+ over the regular one... Full review

Small, Nike-flavoured tweaks make the Series 2 even sportier

from Stuff
The exclusive faces are good but not terribly exciting, and the Nike+ Run Club app is available to all Apple Watches. The strap, though, is a real winner. Lighter, more breathable and more flexible, it’s simply more comfortable when working out, regardless of the sport. It’s a fairly minor improvement, for sure, but it’s a minor improvement that costs you no extra money. Now that’s the kind of maths we can all get behind... Full review
Absolute Geeks

Same price and specs, with unique watch faces and bands

from Absolute Geeks

In a nutshell, it is the Apple Watch Series 2, with the same price and specs, with unique watch faces and bands. If you’re a runner who’s interested in an Apple Watch, this edition is perfect for you. If you already have an Apple Watch Series 2, then the Nike+ edition is not truly an upgrade; the Nike+ Run Club app can still be used on the Series 2 without the Nike+ exclusive features (such as Siri). The features and the bands and watch faces are nice to have, but not must to have. However, if you’re an athlete in any level, or interested in being one, and are considering... Full review
