Paying the price for great sound

from Mashable

The Beoplay H4 headphones sound great and have a simple, elegant design. They deserve to be considered alongside models from Bose and Beats.

A wireless, affordable, Bang and Olufsen headphone

from MajorHifi

Overall, these headphones are giving you all the fashion over function at a $300 price tag. Don’t get me wrong, these babies can perform, but like any $300 headphone that’s trying to deliver on wireless capability, something else is going to take a hit.

"Cheap by B&O Play standards" is still quite expensive by most people's budgets for a portable pair of headphones, and the H4s just don't have enough quality or convenience to justify their cost. If they sounded better, sure. If their loveliness didn't fade so quickly, or if they were provided with a good protective case, then yes. But as they are today, the Beoplay H4s are superficially attractive and internally flawed.

Might be the best-looking option on the market

from Business Insider

The BeoPlay H4 headphones look great, sound better, and are a breeze to use. If you're looking to take your first step into the high-end headphone market, the $300 price tag is accessible and the craftsmanship and quality of materials are worth the cost.

Sweet-sounding and comfortable

from Cnet

While it's not feature loaded, the Beoplay H4's sound quality and comfort level earn it the right to be in the conversation if you're considering a full-size Bluetooth headphone for around $300.

Brings a bass boost

from Techgoondu

To be sure, the headphones aren’t bad. There is still the mid-range clarity that you seek for vocal tracks. And there is bite and attack when a track calls for that. It’s just that the additional bass can feel a little awkward – unless that’s what you want.

The B&O Beoplay H4 headphones are an excellent pair of cans, but they’re missing some key features, like a carry case and noise cancellation. Still, if you’re looking for a pair of over-ear wireless headphones with a $300 budget, these could be your best bet. In particular, these are a great pair of headphones for using around the house — they’re comfortable, sound great, and look awesome.

Nerd Techy

Unique sound that justifies the price

The Beoplay H4 Wireless Headphones are some of the best in their class. Although you do pay a bit of a premium for them, they outperformed all similarly priced headphones that we’ve tried.
