MotoUSA

Simple, easy to use and rugged

from MotoUSA

A real challenger for the GoPro, providing you aren’t chasing TV quality movies. It’s easy to use, practical and durable. We have used it all summer and the camera has been faultless.

Good quality recording

from road.cc

I think my favourite aspect of the camera is the 300-degree lens rotation, which means it can be used in a variety of positions and angles, with a white arrow clearly showing which way is 'up' in the recording. It genuinely gives it a far better range of uses compared with most other cameras I have used, where this kind of work needs to be done through relatively complex menus or even in post production.

Digital Trends

A good action camera if we were still in early 2014

from Digital Trends

A good action camera if we were still in early 2014, but many new cameras have since surpassed it in specs and image quality. It has plusses: the rotating lens, ease of use, battery life, LCD, mounting options, and weather-resistant body. Unfortunately, the unimpressive smartphone app, some uneven performance, and OK video quality made us wish for more.

Cnet

A decent choice

from Cnet

The Drift Stealth 2's advantage over similar super-small cameras is its design. If you're looking for a camera for tight spaces or simply want one that's little and lightweight, it's a decent choice. Just be prepared for the compromises that come with its tiny size.

TechRadar

Incredibly easy to mount

from TechRadar

The small size and weight now make what was a relatively heavy design with the Ghost-S a viable option for lighter weight vehicles and people. The stand out features are the lens design, which enables you to quickly adjust the orientation without the need for additional mounts, and the three hour battery life. Video quality is an issue in brighter conditions but many will like the added warmth and look of the high contrast footage.

Expert Reviews

A great entry-level action camera

from Expert Reviews

While it lacks some of the extra controls we like from more expensive cameras, if you favour simplicity it covers all the basics. Battery life was also superb and image quality was also right on the money. The larger Garmin Virb Elite might add built-in GPS for £20 more, but it can't compete in terms of battery life.

Wareable

An effective dashcam

from Wareable

It has a compact, durable design, it shoots very good video, and you get a decent number of modes as well as some useful extras (like the remote control app and car dashboard mode). Perhaps it's biggest problem is the budget GoPro is almost half the price and matches it on recording quality and most features. The Stealth 2 is more flexible in terms of shooting angles.

The Gadget Pill

One of the most affordable car cameras

from The Gadget Pill

Very compact, and besides the use as a dashcam , it can be used on a helmet for motorcyclists and cyclists, attached to a drone and so on. To view images use the smartphone or tablet app. The dashcam films ok during the day, and has very good connectivity. The price is reasonable for a good quality dash camera.

Small in size and without any fuss

from htxt

One really cool action camera, and being one with the smallest we have seen so far, we were really impressed with what it can do. In terms of price it is pretty much on par with the bigger brands, but it is worth every cent – it’s tiny, easy to use and it does exactly what you want it to.

Cycling Weekly

Smaller, lighter, sleeker

from Cycling Weekly

A neat, lightweight, and well thought out camera that is easy to use and delivers excellent mounting options. If you are not a fan of the fish eye effect seen on GoPro and don’t want to crop your footage, this is an attractive option. In addition, the rotating lens is a superb feature.
