As QC15 users for many years we were really looking forward to a Bluetooth version and we're not disappointed by the QC35s. They are as keen when it comes to audio playback and excellent in their active noise-cancellation, and all without the wires.

Superb quiet and comfort come with a high price and some compromise

It's hard to find any reason not to recommend the Bose QuietComfort 35 after having fallen in love with them this much. Their size, weight, shape, and fit are just perfect for me so they're the first headphones (over-ear, on-ear, open-ear, whatever category you want to consider) that I can wear for more than 10 minutes without any pressure building up around my ears and in my head. Their compact and foldable shape makes them great for travel and storage, but it's their active noise cancellation that shines the most. Hums and consistent noises are near obliterated by the QC35 even with no music on, so adding some tunes just makes them completely disappear.

The Bose QuietComfort 35 is aimed at a very specific group of users. These are looking for a Bluetooth headset with effective noise-canceling. These two criteria come before sound quality, which can be read in the overemphasized mids. When comparing this headset with its wired alternative, the QC 25, the latter clearly sounded better. So you have to decide: either the wired QC 25, which is $50 cheaper, or the wireless QC 35 with slight sound deficits.

The QuietComfort 35 by Bose has a minimalist but clean design to them. They are lightweight and don’t put too much stress on the head. Sound wise they are incredible but they aren’t on the bass heavy side for those that desire that. Noise cancelling is some of the best on some wireless cans and might justify that hefty pricing of $349.99.

I have worn the QC35s almost everywhere since picking them up two weeks ago. I've used them on planes and on the bus. I've used them to drown out animal noises and small children. I've even used them to hear conversations in a loud party. (Fun trick: The noise cancelling mic technology will always attempt to drown out the loud bass, leaving closer, higher-pitched noises — like human voices — clear and distinct.) We're only halfway through the year, so I'm hesitant to call the QC35 my best technology purchase of 2016 just yet. But it's number one on my short list, and almost certainly the best pair of wireless headphones I've ever tried. If you have the budget to go wireless and noise-cancelling, there's no other pick worth considering.

Bose products are so hard to hate, and it’s never been so apparent to me than with the QC35s. Don’t let anyone tell you different, these are a really good pair of headphones. With the exception of one or two things, they’re basically perfect. Of course this is assuming you don’t mind the tweaks to the sound (which a lot of people seem to). But it’s still so hard to justify the $350 price tag. Sure these are super comfortable, and the ANC is great, but I’ve heard headphones that are literally a third of the price with 80% of the functionality. That said, if you tend to like Bose products chances are you’ll like these too.
