Cnet

A solid iPad stylus that falls a little short

from Cnet

I think the Wacom Bamboo Fineline is a better choice than the Jot Script, provided your favorite apps support it, for several reasons. It supports pressure sensitivity, it charges using a standard micro USB cable, and the writing -- as long as the software supports the stylus optimally -- feels a little better to me. However, if you're enmeshed in the Evernote ecosystem, then the Jot Script isn't a bad option. As long as you write a little more slowly and deliberately than you might otherwise.

Penultimate and the Jot Script feel achingly close to what I want from a tablet note-taking environment, but the harmony between software and hardware isn’t 100% there. The combo is good enough for those who want to sit at a cafe and write without rushing, but I wouldn’t rely on the Script in a work environment due to those instances where it simply loses touch with the iPad. It’s probably because the Script looks and feels so much like a pen that it can be so frustrating to be reminded that it isn’t.

The Gadgeteer

Provides a more comfortable pen-like writing feel of any stylus

from The Gadgeteer

Since the stylus tip is so narrow and the “ink” point pretty much directly under the tip, it allows you to do very small writing and detailed drawings. The only thing I would change about this stylus, other than making it compatible for Android devices, is to give the tip a little bit of resistance. The glass on glass feel is a bit slippery. I prefer the S-Pen feel, which is every so slightly draggy. Just enough to make you feel like you have a bit more control as you write....

I think the Adonit Jot Script stylus is definitely a good step in the evolution of styluses for iOS devices. Hopefully the fine tip feature will trickle down into other devices soon!
