Macenstein

It actually works

from Macenstein

As well thought-out as it is, there IS one minor issue with the AirFrame that its designers could not avoid, being a vent-based clip, and that is in cold weather if you have your heat blasting out of those vents, you COULD overheat your device. It’s getting cold here in the Northeast right now, and I get around this by setting my heat to the “defrost and legs” setting. So if you’re the type who needs to hold their hand in front of the vent while driving in cold weather, maybe get a pair of gloves. But I find that to be a small tradeoff to finally be able to have my i... Full review

By far the best car mount I have ever used

from Android Guys
The Airframe+ withstood all the tests I put it through and passed them all. It held on to my Moto X through all the quick turns and steep hills I took it on without letting it slip once. It is by far the best car mount I have ever used and with its high quality construction I do not imagine I will need another one anytime soon... Full review

Light and reliable mount for your iPhone of any size

from 9to5Mac
The size of the Airframe+ makes it portable too, especially since the adjusting arm defaults to being narrow. You can easily remove the Airmount+ from your vent and keep it in your pocket or bag for using as an iPhone stand out of the car. Kenu suggests using a card from your wallet for supporting the Airframe+ as a portable stand for watching movies or gaming out of the car... Full review

It's not bulky, isn't distracting and isn't overly complicated

from Macnn
For an in-car phone mount that costs $30, this really does the trick. It's not bulky, isn't distracting and isn't overly complicated. The small lightweight design is portable enough to take anywhere, and strong enough to hold a phone in any driving conditions at any orientation. Ultimately, the only problem we had with it was when trying to remove the phone, but that doesn't change our overall opinion. At first we weren't sure how this would be very beneficial to anyone, but now that we have it, we will definitely be using it again... Full review

The design is small and unobtrusive

from iLounge

While the $5 price premium puts it on the fine edge of our B+ and B ratings, Airframe+ is still a very good product, ultimately meriting our strong general recommendation. We really like the fact that the design is small and unobtrusive; the fact that it’s easy to use with virtually every one of Apple’s pocket-sized devices—including upcoming models—is also a plus. As was the case last time, the price is on the high side, and we’d prefer that it remain attached to the vent at all times. That said, it’s a really nice solution for users who prefer minimalis... The car mount that can handle any phone

from SlashGear

The Airframe+ is easily the best low-profile smartphone mount we’ve seen, and with the ever increasing belt-line of Android devices, it’s an easy recommendation. It also retails for $29.99, making it one of the more cost effective mounts around. Not having to fuss with sticking it to a dash or windshield is actually refreshing, too. You can also easily take the Airframe+ with you; no adhesives or suction -- along with it's incredibly low profile (great for tossing in a travel bag) -- make it the ultimate travel companion for when you rent a car. A little slice of home comfort, a... Full review

GottaBeMobile

A pretty simple gadget

from GottaBeMobile

The Airframe+ is selling for $29.95, a $5 premium over the $25 original Airframe. I recommend going with the Airframe+, even if your phone fits in original. That’s because phones such as the Galaxy S5 and HTC One might not fit in the Airframe with chunky cases on them. Kenu says that the Lumia 1520 will fit into the Airframe+ just fine.

Companies that produce much more expensive and complex mounting solutions have sent over samples, but I keep on going back to Kenu’s Airframe line because it’s so easy to switch out phones and I don’t have to worry about swapp... Full review

PhoneArena

Simple, minimalist design that makes it discrete

from PhoneArena

The Airframe+ can be turned into a portable stand by simply attaching a credit card, or an expired gift card, to the back so that it’s used to help prop it up. As the company loves to tout, the Airframe+ is simple, elegant, and hands-free. Obviously, we can agree to those claims, but best of all, we really love how it’s discrete – giving us a clear view of the windshield as we’re driving. It’s charming to say the least, but the Airframe+’s price point of $24.95 might seem a bit steep for something that doesn’t have as many attachments as a regular s... Full review

The Gadgeteer

It is probably one of my favorite gadgets of all time

from The Gadgeteer
They took a perfect product and made it even better, so your only decision is going to be how many of them you want! And at a price of $29.95, the Airframe+ is a gadget that is worth more than its price. The original Airframe will still be available for sale for $24.95, and for $5 more the Airframe+ is just perfect for those of you who have one of those huge phones (with up to 6 inch screens) that need it... Engadget

Now case-friendly, designed for the future

from Engadget
Kenu has updated and revised the popular Airframe air vent mount for iPhone by giving it a more expandable jaw and the ability to work with bigger, deeper cases. My only complaint at this time is that it's still somewhat expensive at $30, when other air vent mounts can be had for less than $10... Full review
